HoopScape is a practice-planning tool for basketball coaches. You design drills on a virtual half or full court, animate the movement, organize drills into timed practice plans, and run the session courtside from your phone. Your library syncs across the web today, and across iPhone and iPad when the app arrives.

HoopScape is free to use, and there are no ads. Designing drills, planning practices, and the community are all free.

Future versions may add optional paid upgrades, but the core coaching tools will stay free.

You can sign in with your Google or Apple account, or create an account with an email address and password — whichever you prefer. If you're having trouble, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen to reset it, or email support@hoopscape.app.

You can delete your account from Profile → Delete account. This immediately removes your account and content from normal HoopScape access and begins deletion from our active systems. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or service-provider systems until their normal deletion cycles complete, and we may retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving a privacy/safety issue.

You don’t need to contact us to do it. If you’re unable to reach the app for any reason, email support@hoopscape.app from your account’s email address and we’ll delete it for you.

Yes. Every drill can be set to a half-court or a full court, and you can turn on an out-of-bounds surface so players can start from off the floor — for baseline and sideline inbounds plays. Full court is what you want for press breaks and full-floor transition, and it reads best in landscape or on a tablet.

Pick the court when you create a drill, or switch an existing drill between them in the editor at any time — the play you have already drawn comes with it.

No ads, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. We collect only what's needed to run the app, we don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for marketing. We use a crash-reporting service (Sentry) to find and fix bugs, and an email service (Resend) to deliver your feedback to our team. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Open the drill or practice, tap Share, and you’ll get a link anyone can open in a browser — no account is required to view the drill or practice itself. You control each link and can expire or revoke it later from My shared links in your profile.

Uploaded video is handled separately. A shared link never provides anonymous video playback. A viewer must sign in to HoopScape and be authorized for that video’s audience before it can be played.

HoopScape runs on the web in any modern browser today, and the iPhone and iPad app is on its way to the App Store. Whatever you use, your library stays in sync — build a drill on your laptop and it's on your phone at practice.
